Hainworth Phone Box Restoration

Our Lions have made a habit of restoring local assets. One such project was the repainting of the phone box in the hamlet of Hainworth.

This came about following a request from the town council and locals after the Club had repaired/restored the phone box in Goose Eye.

President Ruth Payne, our vice-president Robert Payne and Lion Luke Maunsell completed the works over a series of weekends.

Keighley Lions are here to serve our community, and projects like this are what we love to do.

We thank all those who came out to provide us with refreshments, and thanks go to the Town Council, which has worked closely with locals to turn the phone box into a home for a lifesaving defibrillator.
