Goose Eye Phone Box

In the beautiful hamlet of Goose Eye, our local Lions decided to take some pride in a valued, community asset.
Situated by the Turkey Inn pub, is a classic phonebox which was in the middle of being transformed into a mini-library as part of a community renovation project.
After becoming aware of this, Parish Cllr (and Lion) Luke requested the help of the Lions to get the phone-box properly spruced up and the Club was only too happy to help.
Working with the Lions and the Lions Den Shed, the phonebox was given a lick of fresh paint and brand new shelves to make it safe and secure.
The newly regenerated asset is once again beloved and looks fab and was happily opened by then Deputy Town Mayor, Cllr Chris Herd.
