Gift For Living Project

Keighley Lions love to make a difference both locally, nationally and internationally. 

Once such project the Club has backed (for the latter of these), has been an orphanage in Uganda which is facilitated by the Gift for Living Project. 

Once a year, the Club donates around £390 which goes directly to paying for the food, board, education and other aspects of living for an orphanage called Eric. This money, therefore, gives Eric a vital lifeline and a chance for a better future. 

To secure the money this year, the Lions held a Sunday Lunch event at Laycock Village Hall. Thanks to those who attended, more than £400 was raised which exceeded the total required. 

The Lions of Keighley are looking forward to supporting Eric for many years to come.
