Children's Ward Visits and Christmas Service

  

Christmas in 2025 was a truly wonderful time for the Lions in Keighley. 

During this time, the Club ran 14 Santa Sleigh routes covering Keighley and neighbouring areas, such as Haworth and Cullingworth, as well as the annual Grotto at Cliffe Castle. Adding to this, the Club held its first Grotto at the amazing Bradford Industrial Museum. 

The Club also once again visited both the Children's Ward and the staff at Airedale more generally to spread festive cheer. It was a great period and the Club thanks everyone who helped from the Lions to the Friends of Lions and so many others who made a remarkable, positive difference to so many!

Airedale Hospital visit 2024

Keighley Lions love to spread festive cheer to our community and we know that, unfortunately, there are those each year who might not be able to be at home at Christmas. 

After speaking with the big man himself, the Lions have been able to organise regular, visits to Airedale Hospital where he meets with children, bigger children and staff on the Children's Ward as well as other parts of the hospital. He also provides those he meets with some treats so that they have a little bit of joy during a difficult period.
